Are you struggling during a time of change in your life?
Often clients come to me when something in their lives has changed, pulled them off their compass so to speak, and they’re struggling to cope. They may have experienced a job change, marriage, birth, retirement, separation or divorce, move to a new house or city, accident, or health issue.
Some life transitions are positive, and some are difficult, painful or tragic. Most transitions, good or bad, come with strong feelings. If you have experienced a recent life transition, you may have feelings of loss and even deep mourning for the way life used to be. You may not understand these feelings, and you may be worried that your usual coping skills are not working as they have in the past. Through one-on-one sessions, we’ll talk things through and work on new coping skills and attitudes to help you manage such changes effectively.
